LÁSZLÓ KRASZNAORKAI
A reading from Animalinside
The profound Hungarian writer László Krasznaorkai was at the Almost Island Dialogues in 2013. He spoke about his life and work at a day session. And he did a reading one evening from his singular work, Animalinside, where he was in dialogue with the artist Max Neumann. The book is made of images and texts, one responding to the other. Krasznahorkai projected the images as he read.
László Krasznaorkai is the author of several books including Satantango, The Melancholy of Resistance, and Seiobo There Below. His most recent work translated into English is A Mountain to the North, a Lake to the South, Paths to the West, a River to the East . He is a winner of the Man Booker International Prize.
