He is the editor of The New Directions Anthology of Classical Chinese Poetry and World Beat: International Poetry Now from New Directions. Among his translations are the Collected Poems of Octavio Paz, Jorge Luis Borges Selected Non-Fictions (in UK: The Total Library), Vicente Huidobro’s Altazor, and Unlock by Bei Dao.
